Crochet is my favorite activity. Its calming, creative and relaxing to wind down your day. Best of all, its something that you can do when you are watching TV or talking and just hanging around with your family. At the end of the day, you feel like you have achieved something and created a beautiful thing. You can tell, I am hooked to crochet and knitting.
It really easy to get started. All you need are a few hooks, a string of yarn and some free time. These items are all available in your local craft stores. Once you have these, you can look up the internet for some easy to do patterns, many of these crochet patterns can also be found for free.
